This young space cadet is ready for action.

Use a light lead pencil or a coloured one. When the sketch is finished

you can go over the light lines with a dark pen or pencil.

Let’s get started

To begin with draw a circle and a wonky rectangle. Put a cross hair in the circle

with the horizontal being about half way down.

Now it is time for arms, legs and feet.

The head gets cheeks, nose, hair and ear. We also put

hands knees and belt line in.

He is really starting to come together now.

Some more details.

Finally, draw over the light pencil lines you have done so far with a pen or darker pencil.

Rub out the pencil lines and put in any extra details you want to.
