Patrol Car

Time to try our hand at drawing a good ol’ Black and White.
Use a light lead pencil or a coloured one. When the sketch is finished
you can go over the light lines with a dark pen or pencil.

Let’s get started

To start with we draw two sides of a box. The front and back.

This is the base of the car.

Now we draw in the car’s cabin. We also show the slope of the bonnet.

Now for the wheels. The wheels furthest away go right to the edge of the box.

Now the wheel arches and the boot, or trunk, of the car.

We now show where the grill, lights and bumper go.

Next comes the doors and bull bars.

Fill in extra details like handles, spot lights and mirrors as well as squad car lights.

Finally, draw over the pencil lines with a dark pen to finish it off.

Rub out the pencil lines and put in any extra details you want to.
