Plane

Jet Fighter

Fighter jets are always fun to draw.

1

The first shapes help form the body and the nose.

2

Add some wings…

3

…and tail, cockpit canopy, tail and jet intake.

4

The plane now needs some more details on its’ wings. I have also added missiles at the wing tips.
I know, the pilot is a little big in my drawing. I still fall in to the trap of drawing things I see as important
slightly bigger than they should be. I sometimes do this when drawing ‘realistic’ people, which is
why they sometimes look more cartoony than I want.

5

We can start to add lines that denote panels, flaps and joins. The pilot gets some attention too.

6

And there you have it. A finished fighter jet.

7

Add some background to create a scene. I have put the land below but you could do ground crew
readying the plane for take off or the enamy in a dogfight.
