Space Rocket

Have a go at drawing a space rocket. Use a light lead pencil or a coloured one. When the sketch is finished you can go over the light lines with a dark pen or pencil. As you get more familiar with the picture you will ‘draw’ many of the first lines in your mind.

Have a blast!

Start with the basic cylinder shapes.

Next, start adding some definition to the cylinders. Show the small wings.

Add some more lines that show the window and thrusters.

Let’s add the astronaut.

Now add the astronauts face details.

Finally, draw over the light pencil lines you have done so far with a pen or darker pencil.

Rub out the pencil lines and put in any extra details you want to.
