We start with his body and head.

This soldier is running so we need strong legs.

He also needs feet and an arm.

…and then the other arm. Draw the heel and marker lines for the face.
The face has 5 horizontal marker lines
to show you where the eyes, nose and mouth will go.

Fill in the body and neck.

SAdd some of the face and start on his gun.

He needs hands and you can flesh out the face further.

Because he is a soldier he needs a uniform. He is in a hurry so the helmet is coming off a bit.

He is starting to look good now. Finish his weapon and add his pack and other details.

Almost there, just some fingers, laces, drink bottle and utility belt.

Now for the pen.

And rub out the pencil. We are done.
